ui/ux designer

From a young age, I always loved art and finding ways to make tasks easier. In third grade, I was the only student who loved the cursive unit and continued to use it ever since. Printing just ceased to make sense to me when cursive allowed the letters to flow and connect, it was so much easier to write and read in! This was only the beginning of my love affair with human-centered design.

I attended college at Syracuse University with a major in graphic design. I quickly learned that I loved figuring out how to design anything in a way that allowed the easiest use for the user. This led me to the field of ui/ux and I decided to specialize my career in it. To give me a solid background, I minored in information management & technology with a focus on web design. I have a basic understanding and skillset of front end web development.

My goal as a designer is to make the world, and the growing amount of information and content constantly being created and shared, easier for people to process and understand. This way more can be done with it when less time and energy are wasted on trying to figure out what you’re looking at.
